投稿摘要: COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by SARS-CoV-2. The Ministry of Health and Welfare added "Severe Special Infectious Pneumonia" to Statutory Infectious Diseases. Multiple severe pneumonia cases broke out in Wuhan, Hubei. Province in December 2019. Due to its susceptibility, 63,282,069 cases have been diagnosed worldwide, 1,470,493 deaths, 2.32% mortality until December 02, 2020. To explore the reasons for its susceptibility and its relevance in the environment. Therefore, the study of the existence of SARS-CoV-2 in the ward environment of confirmed patients.
This hospital is the COVID-19 admission hospital. The diagnosis and treatment of patients was started in February. A total of 23 confirmed patients were treated as of December. Therefore, the study of the existence of SARS-CoV-2 in the ward environment of confirmed patients. Including 2 severe patients, 5 moderate pneumonia patients, 7 mild patients, 9 asymptomatic patients. The SARS-CoV-2 is tested in the ward environment , examination in the critically ill ward environment is to wait for the patient to leave the hospital for examination. The remaining 21 patients were taken in the ward environment while the patients were still hospitalized. Inspection points include bed rails, bed rail buttons, bedside cabinet table tops and switch handles, teapot handles, light switches, toilet door handles, bed sheets, pillowcases, curtains, patient masks. SARS-CoV-2 has not been isolated from the collection points in the wards of severe patients, nor has SARS-CoV-2 been isolated from the environment of the wards of moderate and mild patients, except for masks. For patients without cough symptoms, SARS-CoV-2 will be separated on the contact surface between the mask and the mouth for more than 3 hours.
According to the inspection results, the implementation of environmental cleaning and disinfection and the use of masks for diagnosed patients. It can greatly reduce the risk of SARS-CoV-2 in the surrounding environment of the diagnosed patient, and also protect the medical staff of the diagnosed patient from the risk of infection.
